Mercer is your single point of contact for Annual Open Enrollment, enrollment questions or changes throughout the year regarding enrollment, billing and Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) questions. Be sure to contact Mercer if you have a change of address or phone number or if you need to make a change to your beneficiary.
Discovery Benefits, Inc. (DBI) will continue to provide additional assistance on health HRA administration.
We are pleased to annouce DBI has recently implemented a new dedicated phone number for Caltech retirees: 1-844-561-1334.
There will be no changes to the Caltech Medical, Dental, and Vision health insurance providers. You will keep your same Aetna, Kaiser or HRA plan that you are enrolled in unless you decide to make a change during Annual Open Enrollment.
The Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit for Aetna Traditional Choice members will migrate to the SilverScript platform effective 1/1/20. Benefits will not change. Members will receive a new ID Card, welcome kit with their plan documents and the Silverscript phone number and website.
Any changes made during Annual Open Enrollment will be effective January 1, 2020.
What’s new for 2020
Some plan rates will increase beginning in January. Make sure you review the changes to your monthly plan costs. See pages 7–15 for details about the 2020 health plan options and their associated costs.
We are pleased to announce the SilverSneakers program is being added to the Aetna Medicare Advantage medical plans and the Silver&Fit program is being added to the Kaiser Medicare Senior Advantage HMO medical plan. Both programs are available to anyone enrolled in the respective medical plan. You will receive addtional information about these programs from Aetna and Kaiser in late December.
Even if you’re satisfied with your current plan, it’s still a great time to:
• Review your plan options to make sure you still have the best coverage to meet your needs. • Confirm your Defined Dollar Credit amount.
• Update your mailing address, phone number, email address, and life insurance beneficiaries.
