All rights reserved.Choose Your Benefits November 7 %u2013 202025 Benefit Elections:%u2022 You must elect your Horace Mann benefits for the 2025 plan year during Open Enrollment (OE) November 7 %u2013 20.Changes After Open Enrollment:%u2022 You can make changes to some of your benefits in 2025 if you experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE), such as getting married or having a baby. You must make changes within 31 days, (including the day of the event).%u2022 If you are a New Hire during or after OE and your benefits are effective in 2024, or you experience a QLE or status change, you will need to make updates to your 2024 and 2025 benefits by following the links for each year on your enrollment website.%u2022 You can enroll year-round in Pet Insurance,Commuter Benefits and Health Savings Accounts (if you already enrolled in a medical plan). Employer contributions are prorated.What if I Don%u2019t Enroll:%u2022 You must take action to complete enrollment for 2025. If you don%u2019t make elections by November 20, you will only have 100% employer-paid benefits. All other benefits will cease on December 31, 2024.%u2022 Your current group life and/or pet insurance elections will carry forward into 2025.%u2022 Health Savings Account (HSA) and Heathcare Flexible, Dependent Care and Commuter Flexible Spending Account (FSA) elections do not roll over from year to year. You must make a new election each year to participate.%u2022 You must enroll in the Health Savings Account during OE to receive your employer%u2019s 2025 contribution.If you (and/or your dependents) have Medicare or will become eligible for Medicare in the next 12 months, a federal law gives you more choices about your prescription drug coverage.
